Celebrating Diversity #12This edition of Celebrating Diversity I want to focus on two extremes of art: Extremely detailed and realistic works and minimal and abstract art. Both tendencies or trends have their place and time in art and history and are appreciated by many people. Not always does one person like both, but to me personally, art has always been more about feeling, than about complexity. Something simple can touch me emotionally as well as something blasting with details. Art is just as individual as every human being! :heart:

Celebrating Diversity #3Hello, everyone!
When we don't see enough of a particular art form, it is difficult for us to understand or appreciate it. This project aims to bring you features that you might not have seen otherwise from a variety of galleries around dA. For example, I tend to live and breathe photomanipulations and (to a lesser extent) digital art, and I really enjoyed taking a moment to browse the non-photomanipulation galleries for treasures. I found many, and I hope you will enjoy the features I have chosen.

Darkroom Exposed: Digital OverlaysDarkroom Exposed is a series of articles highlighting talented deviants, noteworthy art and helpful information all about the Photography > Darkroom gallery on dA.
This issue features digital overlays, which are created by layering two or more images (including but not limited to texture and colour layers) to create a final image, mimicking the effect of exposing photographic paper to two or more negatives and/or filters during printing. This differs from photomanipulations, where elements of numerous images are separately extracted and combined to make a final image.

Even tho most of you are aware of the many many galleries and categories here on dA, I think most of us move in a sort of "comfort zone" between Galleries, Channels or Groups that provide us with a constant flow of new art. And sometimes we forget all the other great artforms, styles and media that are out of our "comfort zone". And today I want to step out of that warm and cuddly place and feature some awesome works from places on dA I don't usually visit!

Famous landmarks feature -Stonehenge Stonehenge
Millions of people come from all over the world to visit Stonehenge.
Stonehenge in one word can be described as impressive. You can spend all
day at Stonehenge if you like, it is beautiful when the sun rises and
beautiful when the sun sets. Both show the colours of the bluestones and
sarsen stones with different hues if you'll look closely.
 People not only come to look at Stonehenge but also to draw and take photographs as well

started up where I interview a deviant who is a regular in the
dAmn/Chatroom area of deviantART, and ask them to share their initial
 and current opinons on that area of the site. I'd love some suggestions
on how it can be improved if you have any, as well as any other

1. When did you start using dAmn compared to how long you've been on dA?
About the same time actually, I joined DA about 2 years ago because a
friend in real life recommended to get an account on here to get better
at drawing. Soon after joining I made my first post and after it got
some comments I started replying to the comments and one of the comments
invited to the RP room and since then I've made tons of friends and
regularly join in the activities.
2. Did you find yourself drawn to any chatrooms in particular when you first started using them?
